''Jackie Jackson'' is the self-titled debut album from Jackie Jackson, the eldest member of The Jackson 5, released on Motown Records. It was arranged by Eddy Manson, Gene Page and The Corporation. Released on October 14, 1973, the album suffered from a lack of promotion, and did not chart. It was his only full-length solo release for more than 15 years, and his only solo album with Motown. "Love Don't Want to Leave" has appeared on several Jackson 5 compilations (including Anthology 76, Anthology 86 and Soulsation!), but the other tracks only appeared on the 33 rpm vinyl LP, which ranks among the more obscure releases in the Jackson family catalogue. The album features background vocals from the Jackson 5 on "Didn't I (Blow Your Mind This Time)" and the B side opener "Do I Owe". "Is It Him or Me" was sampled by Nas for his song "War" on his Street's Disciple album. ==Track listing== ;Side A #"Love Don't Want to Leave" (The Corporation, Christine Yarian) - 3:10 #"It's So Easy" (The Corporation) - 2:57 #"Thanks to You" (Beatrice Verdi, Christine Yarian) - 3:15 #"You're The Only One" (The Corporation) - 3:03 #"Didn't I (Blow Your Mind This Time)" (Thom Bell, William Hart) - 3:15 ;Side B #"Do I Owe" (The Corporation, Christine Yarian) - 3:25 #"Is It Him or Me" (The Corporation, Christine Yarian) - 4:26 #"In My Dreams" (The Corporation, Christine Yarian) - 3:05 #"One and the Same" (The Corporation, Christine Yarian) - 2:55 #"Bad Girl" (Berry Gordy, William Robinson) - 4:10 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Jackie Jackson (album)」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
